This project will focus on public opinion in the European Union. Drawing on data from representative public opinion surveys, the project will use quantitative methods to examine causes of euroscepticism and populism in the EU. In addition, it will examine how the two phenomena are linked and how they impact other political attitudes (such as trust in political institutions).
