Understanding how plants grow and respond to their environment requires insights from the molecular level to the entire organism. Quantitative microscopy provides this opportunity. Supported by the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions programme, the AGILE project offers interdisciplinary doctoral training in imaging and computational analysis focused on plant systems. Researchers investigate the structure and function of plant cell nuclei. They uncover principles that influence growth, development, and adaptation to environmental changes. AGILE prepares scientists to advance plant biotechnology, improve crops, and set new imaging standards. The project fosters a new generation of researchers who can make groundbreaking discoveries and apply quantitative imaging techniques across plant science and related fields
