Central European Social Policy and Social Work Network (CESPASWON)

The Central and European Social Policy and Social Work Network promotes and enriches the exchange of teaching practices and broadens studying opportunities by providing a collaborative regional dimension and flexible learning for students of social work and social policy in Central and Eastern Europe. Through the Regional Week, this Network provides an annual platform for professors and students to present their most recent research, to engage in discussions on global and regional social problems, and participate in fieldwork. The Network members also publish joint publications and encourage and support PhD students in submitting their work in the international scientific journals published by the participating universities. The network enhances the skills of future social work and social policy scholars, as well as future social work professionals for research, policy-making and interventions that affect social welfare, social justice and social rights.
