Dementia with Lewy bodies (DLB) is the second most common degenerative disease, often misdiagnosed due to symptom overlap with Alzheimer's, Parkinson's, and psychiatric conditions. This project aims to improve early diagnosis and treatment by using normative modeling to analyze brain structure and function deviations. We will employ a comprehensive neuropsychological, EEG, MRI, and biomarker data from elderly individuals, including those at risk for prodromal DLB (proDLB). The study will use normative models to identify early compensatory mechanisms and stratify cohorts based on deviation patterns. This approach seeks to enhance diagnostic accuracy and enable targeted interventions.
