The Bohemian Reformation plays a significant role in the development of medieval ideas of Antichrist and eschaton. The project will open one of the unexplored chapters of the apocalyptically motivated reformist criticism − its formation at the University of Prague, including the emergence of controversies. It will focus on the Positio de Antichristo, in which Jakoubek of Stříbro identified Antichrist with the Pope during the quodlibet of 1412 in reaction to the indulgence affair and the banning of Wyclif's works. The project outputs: an open access digital edition of the Latin Positio, its Czech translation (in digital form with open access). Two studies on reformist criticism with apocalyptic motives in Positio, its development and influence on contemporary disputes at the University of Prague will be published in peer-reviewed journals.
