Relyance on information and guidance provided by others is characteristic of decision-making in a wide range of contexts, including environmental, political, health-seeking, or consumer behaviour. Understanding how information receivers incorporate provided information and how they act on it may therefore provide valuable guidance to a range of professionals, including managers, medical doctors, or public servants. This project will contribute to the literature regarding the effects of Third-Party Communication from a multidisciplinary perspective, whilst using experimental economic methodology to overcome the shortcomings of previous research in this area. In particular, we plan to focus on factors influencing the perceived credibility of online reviews.
