The project will develop and promote open-access education and training materials in the Czech language that explain, demonstrate, and support the practical utilisation and uptake skills for integrating Copernicus Climate Change Service (C3S) data, tools, and services. We aim to strengthen climate change and climate data literacy and train a new generation of C3S users among all-level students, teachers, professionals, and public authorities in Czechia. The project will also enhance the proficiency of teachers, who play a fundamental role in guiding transformations within the changing climate knowledge towards a more sustainable and technologically advanced future. A needs assessment has been mapping existing resources and identifying gaps to ensure their systematic integration into future curricula, training activities, and institutional practice.. Stakeholders, including universities, secondary schools, accreditation bodies, NGOs and public authorities, will co-design the materials to ensure alignment with curricula, training needs, and best practices. Tailored resources will be developed for universities (advanced tutorials on C3S data analysis and interpretation), authorities (user-friendly materials for decision-making), secondary schools (climate literacy activities and teacher resources), and the general public (accessible content to raise awareness). The materials will be validated through pilot implementations at universities, secondary schools, and workshops for authorities, with the collected feedback informing their refinement and subsequent integration into curricula and professional practice. Dissemination will be ensured through national and international platforms, authority-oriented workshops, social media, and Czech translations of selected C3S resources, such as use cases, videos, and animations. The long-term ambition is to foster accurate understanding and effective application of climate data across sectors, strengthen the uptake and visibility of C3S, and establish a durable foundation for climate education in Czechia through scalable, reusable, and widely accessible resources.
