The project brings such a silent obstruction into the open. It starts from a simple premise: what many people sense in public debate is rarely documented with systematic evidence. Its aim is therefore to make the invisible visible: to show with data how domestic climate obstructionism operates within the policy-making and implementation processes in Czechia. A country characterized by widespread obstructionism among political elites and the strong position of fossil incumbents.
Our goal is to investigate how silent climate obstruction emerges from the interaction of advocacy coalitions, legislative strategies, and financial flows that reinforce incumbent interests.
