Description This text deals with current protests and riots in Bahrain, at base of so called Arab spring or Jasmine revolution, which broke out at February 2011. Those events are put in context of historical, political, social, economic, and religious matters that affect conflict dynamics and participating powers. This article also focuses on characterizing of main motives and positions of the three most important external powers. Two of them are the strongest rivals in region – Iran and Saudi Arabia. The other is United States who considers Persian Gulf as vital area for their national security. At the end of this work the author offers several scenarios of probable development of Bahraini internal affairs.
