| Description | This paper deals with possibility of narrative in legal science. The narrative represents a model of scientific methodology besides the explanatory model. Its fundamental approach is interpretative and not explanatory. In law and legal science there are no general rules (like in natural sciences): this is reason why it is impossible to adopt explanatory scientific model. The narrative and narratology then offers a useful set of methods for research in law and also for practical legal actions. The paper also deals with definition of narrative and its forms and explains fundamental narrative techniques applicable in legal practice. |
