| Description | Health care provided to patinets with DM is concentrated into specialised diabetologic outpatient departments. Such model is relatively unusual; it is a result of the National Diabetologic Program accepted by the Ministry of Health in 1980s. Therefore, it is important to attempt to evaluate the quality of diabetes therapy, particularly in the context of recent discussions about transferring the diabetes treatment to GPs. |
