| Description | Like in society is significant aging, medical science is currently witness phenomenon - "geriatrizace medicine." An important concept that is closely related to aging is the fragility of old age ("Frailty"). This is one of the key characteristics of geriatric patients. It is a multidimensional concept rather than a mere expression of the level of dependence in IADL, event. ADL. Senile fragility is therefore possible to define a "state of reduced physiological reserve associated with an increased tendency to invalidity (falls, fractures, limitations in daily life, loss of independence)." |
