| Description | The paper was concentrated on the selected renaissance painted cycles with Ovidian iconography. On those examples was explored the influence of the illustrated editions of Ovid`s Metamophoses, mainly the question of the impact of compositions of Bernard Salomon/ Virgil Solis. Aside from the possibilities of use of those comparations, the paper was also concentrated on the ideological context of the selected painted cycles. |
