Description The article deals with the functioning of the Treaty Bodies, the complex of international committees for the human rights protection, and the possibility of the future development of this control mechanism. The contribution explains in short the basic competences of the committees, and above all presents a draft statute of a new international judicial institution. After its potential creation the so-called World Court of Human Rights would take over the competence of the current committees to decide the individual complaints on human rights violations and unlike the committees it could decide in binding manner by judgements.
