| Description | One of manufacturing sectors, which lost on risk and subsequent decline in European continent, is textile industry. In the past 20 years the product composition has undergone ganges, which also caused a phenomenon of unused and abandoned not only industrial structures, so called brownfields. Such areas are generally considered to be a burden to thein surroundings in term sof urban, economic, social and ecologial. Most of these infulences are felt by residents and local government, thus have a strong incentive to active participace on developing activities in these areas. This paper is maping brownfield sites in Northeast Bohemia, evaluates the purposes of existence, geographical location and processes brownfields within the frame of economic and socio-demograhpical development of region. |
