| Description | After 15 March 1939, after the establishment of the Protectorate of Bohemia and Moravia, there were made fundamental changes in the legal system. Most likely the most important change was the fact that in the Protectorate of Bohemia and Moravia dual law came into effect - Protectorate law (autonomous) and German law (imperial). Its application used to depend on nationality of the subjects of legal relations. In connection with the introduction of dual law in Bohemia and Moravia, the German courts were also established as well as the entire German occupation administrative apparatus headed by the Reich Protector. |
