| Description | This chapter from a specialist book „Gestalt therapy in clinical practice“ presents a scientific view on the topic of psychopathology seen from a Gestalt psychotherapy perspective. Current research based findings and specialist literature on the topic of psychopathology and psychotherapy are elaborated, then a new and original scientific piece of knowledge is presented. The chapter focuses on the application of specific theoretical concepts into a clinical practice with severely disturbed patients. Clinical experiences on the given topic are elaborated. Psychopathology is seen from the perspective of a relational disturbance. Specific forms of relational disturbances are connected with diagnostic psychopathology categories. Applications for clinical practice are deduced from described theoretical concepts. |
