Description After the general definitions of terms, the paper focuses on current problems of contemporary society, where many socially deviant phenomena such as corruption, clientelism, nepotism, social inequality, the behaviour of multinational corporations are perceived by the public as deviant, but they are often legally invisible – they are not illegal. The author reflects the violation of "presumption of innocence" in the media, and she considers benefits of the moral condemnation of these deviant pheno-mena in media. The paper also deals with the globalized system, where the concept of the company is extended from businesses throughout the state and the public sphere. This article critically points out transnational corporations, whose main objective is to maximize profit.
