| Description | Each chapter is divided into four parts. In the first part, there is outlined the constitutional development of the respective period with links to particular document. This part is always followed by a main part of each chapter, which brings a collection of documents of all different nature regarding the issues of constitutionalism of the respective era. The authors had to pay attention to specific features of the particular periods and thus some of the subchapters are subdivided even more, this applies especially to the Slovakian issues. The authors wanted to make orientation in the text very simple and thus, in some of the chapters, there are separated the documents that had been in force from the ones that were just a mere proposals. The third part of each chapter includes bibliography aimed at the collection of books regarding the respective period. Finally, the forth part is probably visually most interesting. It is a collection of photo documentation regarding the respective period. In this part, the authors tried to introduce all the importing aspects of each of the periods. Therefore there are not only pictures of the buildings, in which the legislative bodies held their meetings, or images of the meetings and pictures of the most important constitutional documents, but there is an exhaustive gallery of persons who more or less influenced the constitutionally-political development of the respective period. |
