| Description | This paper deals with the quantitative analysis of Czech prison overcrowding which represents the main reason for the introduction of alternative sanctions and measures, not only in Czech Republic. The paper focuses on electronic monitoring as one of the means of control of house arrest according to Czech legislation in force. Attention is also paid to possible ways of its technical implementation. |
