Description The aim of this project is to investigate different mappings of documents in humanities into ontologies, i.e. the mutual relations between these mappings: agreement, differences, disagreement. First, we are going to focus on possible sources of differences and disagreement. Second, we want to indicate possible resolutions of differences and disagreement within ontology frameworks or/and employing topic maps. Third, we want to focus on overlapping and conflicting mappings based on mappings in different natural languages. Here, the starting point is not a single document, but various translations of a single document. Fourth, in the last part of the project, we want to provide an experimental justification of achieved results. Drawing on previous projects ([12], [16]), we want to produce a case study of ontologies of Ludwig Wittgenstein's texts based on different interpretative strategies and different translations.
