| Description | retrospective hindsight at the development of information science in the first part describes the professionalization of librarianship as a practical discipline. Especially it pays attention to the development of bibliology, library science and shaping the development of formalized training in librarianship, including the emergence of the first library schools, associations and committees for education. In conclusion comes up library science and information science intersection period, which is in more detail analyzed in part II. of Retrospective hindsight. |
