| Description | The development of multilingualism is considered a desirable and a generally accepted goal since it was set by the Council of Europe and the European Union as a priority in the area of language and education policies several years ago. Therefore, the mediation or development of multilingual skills of European citizens manifests increasingly in strategic education and curricular documents. How these principles are implemented in common (foreign) language teaching at schools, is still a very debatable matter, which is pursued in this book from the perspective of the development of a multilingual writing skills in the language teaching in Czech schools. |
