| Description | Variety Pramedi (TPM14855) was bred out by interspecific crosses between tetraploid red clover (Trifolium pratense L.) cv. Tatra (2n=4x=28) and zig-zag clover (Trifolium medium L.) (2n=8x=64). It can be recommended as a forage crop on arable land in pure stands or in mixtures with grasses either for direct cattle feeding or for conservation by silage making. Pramedi is also possible to use as a component of grass clover mixtures for long term meadows. |
