Description The chapter focuses on teaching Czech as a foreign language. The author drawsattention to the problems of integrating Czech substandard units into teaching. This chapter summarizes the results of original research of representation substandard forms in language teaching in foreign schools in Estonia, Latvia, Croatia and Slovenia. At these schools are taught Czech language in the long term. Literary form of the Czech language is perceived as a representative. Guidance on substandard units may be interesting for students. Teaching some substandard forms of language can be accepted based on serious grounds.
