| Description | The publication is a contribution to the development of critical thinking, more precisely to the comprehension of text. It presents some interpretative procedures focused on significant communicative components, their structure and possible critical reactions. The publication consists of three chapters. The first chapter deals with paraphrasing, i. e. the way to express something in a different manner. It offers basic tools to differentiate the key components of communication from the less important elements. The second chapter, the main part of the publication, concerns identification of arguments and their structures. Main interpretive indicators are presented to prevent distortion of argumentative analysis. The third chapter focuses on general account of rebuttals. |
