Description The internal response of organism (heart rate – HR) to the training load of young female basketball players was monitored during training process (4 on 4). To determine HR’s range in five bioenergetics’ zones figures for HRmax from endurance shuttle run test were used. The HR and its development was monitored by Suunto Team Pack. When the intensity of training load between offense and defense phase in individual bioenergetics’ zones as well as in % of HRmax was compared, no statistically significant difference was recorded (p > 0.05). The players were active, in average, in 1st, 2nd and 3rd zone 0.72 +- 1.61 %, 7.24 +- 7.31 % and 13.06 +- 10.99 % from total time of active phase, respectively. In 4th and 5th zone, where the energy is released in aerobic-anaerobic or anaerobic manner, players were active 25.18 +- 17.78 % and 53.8 +- 27.82 % from the total time of active phase. The average HR reached 91.32 +- 2.88 % from HRmax.
