Description *System utilizes persons gestures to control videoconferencing equipment. System consists of inertial sensors module for movement detection and control software for gesture evaluation and videoconferencing equipment control. The sensor unit is a small autonomous device equipped with inertial sensors (gyroscope, accelerometer) and a Bluetooth interface. It sends XML messages to the control computer via HTTP/HTTPS protocol. The sensor unit movement is compared with a set of predefined gestures (left-right movement, up-down movement etc.) which are used to control the videoconferencing application. Accumulator of the sensor unit is recharged via Qi power wireless power standard.
