| Description | The paper presents a new comprehensive mathematical model forecasts of municipal waste (MSW), which was developed for modeling municipal waste management. MSW generation submodel was created as a multi-dimensional linear model MSW generation in communities that depend on socio-economic parameters have been calibrated on a sample of data from annual reports 6250 municipalities Czech Republic on the MSW generation and treatment. This comprehensive mathematical model has brought new tools to support decision making for the Ministry of the Environment in the area of waste management (eg national legislation, grant management, building new facilities, etc.) and used for the new Waste Management Plan of the Czech Republic for the period 2015-2024 . It is also possible to use it for all Member States of the European Union. |
