| Description | The paper analyses the phrasems "první (druhé, třetí) housle" and "deveta rupa na svirali", "deveta dupka na kavala" as to their formal structure and semantics. In the first example it is interesting to point out the question of motivation and meaning of the variant "třetí housle", in the second example we point out that the studied South Slavic phrasems do not have any formal equivalent in the Czech language. |
