Description Lower urinary tract symptoms due to neurogenic dysfunction of the lower urinary tract (NDLUT) belong to symptoms that most often bother patients with multiple sclerosis (MS). If not treated properly, can lead to irreversible changes of the lower and upper urinary tract. NDLUT may also worsen the course of MS and general health disability. Current recommendations generated by ICS and EAU for monitoring patients with NDLUT are generally designed for patients with any neurological disabilities, but not for patients with MS. Our clinical observations indicate worsening of NDLUT in patients with MS in relation to the dynamic progression of the demyelinating disease. The aim of this prospective controlled study was to evaluate the parameters of urodynamic examinations in patients with MS in the timeline and create a recommendations for clinical practice.
