| Description | In the contribution we include several comments on the sense and profits of Mathematical Kangaroo for the youngest pupils, i.e. participants in the Cricket and Ecolier categories. We write the contribution from the point of view of supervisors of the above categories and consider the discussions and reflections of the topic in the education practice. We include several examples to demonstrate the motivational and diagnostic aspect of the "kangaroo" problems and their solutions. We outline potential of the problems for teachers aiming to develop the talent of outstanding pupils, and to make mathematics more popular. |
