| Description | This publication is intended for the participants in Sports games II course, during which the students are supposed to learn about the following sports: floorball, softball, badminton, table tennis. They should also come across less common sports games. The publication primarily focuses on table tennis. There can be found information on its history and rules, necessary equipment, competitions and their systems. In the sub-chapter Strokes there is a list of them and they are briefly characterized. In another sub-chapter the issue of ball spin is dealt with. A robot throwing the balls is considered a very useful aid during training and the last sub-chapter deals with it. To make this subject easier for students this publication provides the rules of other above mentioned sports games. |
