| Description | The issue of tourism public support and public sector intervention is relatively broad and long discussed. This is related to the position and setting of tourism policy. However, less often, the issue of tourism planning as a way to achieve stated goals is discussed. Planning is in the Czech Republic usually identified with the tourism policy, respectively it is not recognized as its single attribute. This article aims to analyze and discusse available expert resources, which deal with such issue in tourism. In addition to finding the differences in understanding of tourism policy and planning the artickle outlines the most frequently used methods of planning and key procedural steps. In order to meet such target the method of research and discussion of expert foreign sources is used. The result is a comprehensive overview of the planning issue, discussion of different approaches and finding differences between tourism policy and tourism planning. |
