Description Polyunsaturated fatty acids - docosahexaenoic eikosapentaenoic - are one of the essential nutrients required during pregnancy and lactation in particular with regard to the developing fetus. Their main source is fish whose consumption currently poses certain risks. The aim of the study was to determine whether pregnant women are adequately informed about the importance of these polyunsaturated fatty acids during pregnancy. The intake of polyunsaturated fatty acids was assessed using a three-day food record.
