| Description | It is likely that every haematologist has in his care a patient with von Willebrand’s disease. However, this disease is not always diagnosed in a patient and on the contrary the disease does not always require treatment. The author presents the fundamentals of the pathophysiology, diagnosis and treatment of this disease, pointing to some current and problem issues. |
