| Description | The article brings information from HOT lines section on European Soceity of Cardiology congress in London in September 2015. Six most important trials are presented. The Albatross study describes the present role of aldosterone blockade. The Pathway stidies 2 and 3 are concerning about resistant hypertension and its treatment. The Improve IT trial brings a subanalysis from diabetic patients, where patients with type II diabetes mellitus have a greater benefit from treatment with ezetimibe than patients without diabetes mellitus. |
