Description The paper deals with the question, of to what extend the legislator reflects the autonomy of the will of the patient, when regulating medical interventions into the physical integrity of a man. Does the legislator act reasonably when accepting medical intervention against the will of man? Does the legislator act reasonably when denying „unreasonable treatment“, which the patient require? This paper tries to discern whether the legislature deals with the timeless dilemma between the need for protection of patient’s autonomous decision-making process and the need for protection of patient’s health reasonably.
