Description This paper introduces the results of a floristic and phytosociological survey of the Dubová stráň Nature Monument. The site is situated in the southern part of the Bohemian-Moravian Highlands and represents a strip of well-preserved oak-hornbeam forest and regionally rare thermophilous oak forest on the slopes of the Moravská Dyje river valley. The survey was carried out between 2008–2013. Altogether 247 species of vascular plants were found in this period, eighteen of them included in the Czech Red List. Finds of Aconitum variegatum, Gagea minima, Galanthus nivalis, Hieracium maculatum, Lilium martagon, Omphalodes scorpioides and Viola mirabilis are considered most important from the conservation and biogeographical points of view. Also 30 taxa of alien species were observed, including seventeen naturalized, eleven invasive, one casual and one cultivated taxa. The distinguished plant communities are shortly described and a map of the actual vegetation is provided. Several communities are documented by phytosociological relevés, including typical communities of the Carpinion betuli allience and communities transitional to the Quercion petraeae alliance.
