| Description | The contribution contains the basic characteristic of shares as participating securities and a description of the development of their legislation since 1852, ie since the release of the Imperial Patent (Federal Act), to the present. Subchapters relating to the particular laws focus mainly on the form of shares and their transferability, the minimum nominal value of shares, requirements and types of shares, in case the legislation allowed issue of different classes of shares.
