Description In the Czech Republic, the prevalence of hypertension is about 40%. Target blood pressure values reaches only about 44% of hypertensive patients. The cause is often inconsistency attending physician to achieve target levels, poor access to treatment from patients and insufficient use of fixed combinations. The new fixed triple combination in treating hypertension is perindopril arginine-indapamide-amlodipine. There is clear evidence of the cardioprotective effect of the individual drugs and their combination in the prevention of cardiovascular disease. First fixed triple combination is widely used in clinical practice. It is intended mainly for patients with moderate and severe hypertension, is suitable for patients with low and high CV risk, and all hypertensives, which do not have their blood pressure below 140/90 mmHg.
