Description In 2013, a cooperation between NGO NaZemi and the Institute of Research on Inclusive Education started in order to implement at the Czech primary schools new paedagogical approach Global Storylines, originated in 70´s in Scotland. This approach is suitable for working with a hetergoenous groups of learners, as it is flexibly and can be accomodated to the different needs of learners, it strenghten the inclusion and cooperation. The primary goal of Global Storylines is to open the space for participation and for work with global topics. As analysis of the first two years of the project work showed, the work with Global Storylines significantly change the relationship between teacher and learners. Teacher and learners can see each other in new situation and their relationship shifts towards non-hierarchical partnership. Teachers often refer to their surprise arising from the abilities of their learners. This paper is based on the various data source (participatory observation, documents analysis, interviews with learners and teachers etc.) in order to focus on the features of Global Storylines, that influence the relationship between teachers and learners. We discuss the measurability and transferablitiy of this influence as well.
