We have found that with the exception of SinoCzech relations there has not been any substantial change in the political relations between the V4 and China since 2012. That is mirrored by the lack of clear economic takeoff, although in economic exchange the four countries are still much ahead the rest of the group of CEE16. Politically the major improvement of the bilateral relations with Poland came in 2011, thus before the official kick-off of the 16+1 platform. Ever since then, Hungary has not experienced any significant increase in their political relations with Beijing and similar thing is truth for Slovakia. |
