| Description | The ECtHR has recently held that the disciplinary proceedings with judges fall within the ambit of the so-called “civil-law limb” of Article 6 ECHR. Besides that it stipulated several requirements regarding the institutional design of domestic disciplinary courts. These developments have far-reaching consequences for separation of powers within the Council of Europe member states. |
