Description The aim of the study was to find out the effect of post-exercise fatigue of abdominal muscles on the stability of the stand. The study group was consisted of 53 firefighters. The file was divided into experimental group (n = 35) and control group (n = 18) by random selection. We evaluated stability parameters through the Biodex Balance system. Probands passed pretest, introducing test, two 20 second tests and one output test on the lability level 5. For the input value was considered arithmetic average of the second and third test. Output values we obtained with the 4th test. The experimental group attended the abdominal muscles to subjective perceived load maximum between the third and fourth tests. We have seen a significant improvement in the parameters of stability in experimental group, results was tested by Wilcox test, (p = 0,023663). We have not seen any significant change in control group (p = 0,485925). However a comparison of the results of groups, did not show significant difference (p = 0,473795) while nominal values militate in favour of an experimental group. We assume on the basis of the results of our study, that the fatigue after the abdominal muscles exercise to subjective perceived maximum positively affects postural mechanisms.
