| Description | In this paper, the author aims to present a brief review of the development of commercial banking in the Czech lands. First, he highlighted the essence and the foundation of banking, so that he could focus on the development of rendering banking services and the relating regulation. The part of the paper focused on development is divided into the following chapters: the first emergence of banking in the Czech lands and the development in the Nineteenth century. |
