| Description | Actinic keratosis is a frequent skin lesion, forming at areas chronically exposed to sun. Nowadays, actinic keratosis is considered carcinoma in situ of squamous cell carcinoma. Treatment options can be divided into physical - lesion directed, topical - lesion directed and field therapy, andphotodynamic therapy. Integral part of actinic keratosis management is protection from sunlight. |
