Description The purpose of this work is to confirm or refuse the thesis that financial law is strongly influenced by the economic environment and its development. The question of correlation of economics and financial law the authors consider a concrete example of the banking sector - a countercyclical capital buffer. As a key macro-prudential tool, introduced under the new regulations of the European Systemic Risk Board, this capital is a typical regulatory tool, the use of which is inextricably linked to economic reality. The first and the second parts of this work on the object and methods of financial regulation are based on the work by M. Radvan, the third part considering countercyclical capital buffer is based at the work by J. Schweigl. Udk 347.73:336.1(437.1/.2)(470)
