| Description | Chapter deals with case law on animal rights and concept of Mother Earth and its enforcement. Conclusions are rather sceptical to granting rights to animals, but points out significant shortcomings of animal welfare instruments and lack of proportionality in legal regulation concerning industial use of animals. |
