| Description | Intuitive ideas of older people about technology as tools, factory machines, locomotives, tractors and cars differ from what technology nowadays really is. Also an idea of technology as a computer, the Internet or a smartphone is inadequate. This book is based on the author's concept of evolutionary ontology and introduces a little-known distinction between two main development paths of technology – the biotic and abiotic technology. The book not only describes the abiotic technology and technosphere evolution processes, it also provides an outline of a possible conciliation between the contemporary consumer and information technosphere and humans and biosphere. |
